Kepler’s Law

Johannes Kepler an astronomer and mathematician (1571-1630), stated his opinion which was then called Kepler’s Law:

Kepler’s I Law, states:
“The orbit of each planet is elliptical in shape and the sun lies at on of the foci of the ellipse.”

The movement of planets to revolve around the sun is called revolution, while the time required by the planets to do one complete revolution is called orbital period.

Kepler’s II Law, states:
“ The imaginary line that connects a planet to the sun during the revolution of the planet, will pass through planes of equal area in the same time interval.”

Kepler’s III Law, states:
“The square of orbital period of planets is directly proportional to the cubic of its average distance to the sun.”

Kepler’s III Law is formulated as follows
